    Looks like a pretty cool route. Did you have any trouble hiring a car? Can you drop it somewhere else or do you have to go back to the start again? Never rented a car before but definitely want to do a road trip next year.

      Anyone over 21 can hire a car but it gets a little easier and cheaper the older you are. You can pay extra to be able to drop it off somewhere else – companies know that everyone loves a road trip in America.
